Happy Ghost Halloween!

It took awhile for the trick or treating to begin because Firefighter Paulie was quite taken with himself. Princess Ariel and Princess Ariel finally lured him away from his reflection only to create more delay in their own extended photo shoot on the front stoop. But once they got moving, nothing could stop them. They tore up Brookwood, running up and down front lawns in a race to see who'd get to ring the doorbells first. Then they'd yell: "Trick or Treat! Happy Ghost Halloween!" (Still not sure what that means)After cleaning out most of the homes on the street, they returned home for the afterparty. They tore into some Halloween cake and the Ariels danced to "Unwritten" about six times. Firefighter Paulie, craving some tulle, disappeared into the dining room for a moment, then returned in Caroline's Tinkerbell dress. He promptly joined the dance party.

Moments later, a creepy adult-sized trick-or-treater dressed as an evil-looking Patriots facepainter appeared in the doorway: "Give me all your friggin candy!"

Thankfully, in the back of my mind, I knew it was Pete -- otherwise it would have been kind of scary. Apryl and Baby Nate (A lion cub!) followed behind, continuing Nate's first Halloween tour. "We just scared the hell out of the Nortons too," Pete said, reminding us that he's still the child of the family.

I need to get some Power Ranger or Thomas the Train costumes for Paulie. Can't seem to get him out of that dress.

You know what they say, James....the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Is there anything you want to tell us? Hmmmm......pretty boy?!!

Have you ever seen the photo of James dressed as a Weymouth high school cheerleader? A classic from Halloween 1986. Frosted blue eye shadow and helmet hair. He was better looking than the actual squad (I've seen the yearbook).

James, perhaps you can sit down with Paulie and leaf through the "Real Man Handbook," a.k.a. your Weymouth LAX scrapbook.

Too funny with the picture of Paulie in the dress dancing around. Reminds me of the picture of me and my sisters when I was his age. Doh! Just joking James....

Does this mean Mike and I can't come to the Christmas Party this year?

JAL-I hope it's an even bigger incentive for you to come to the Christmas party this year. Paulie needs some back-up, man. I let him wear dresses and tulle whenever he wants.
