Perhaps one of the greatest Easter commercials of all time. This is right up there with M&M's "Thank you, Easter Bunny -- Bock! Bock!"
I know I am likely in the minority here but I've always thought Cadbury Creme Eggs were straight-up nasty. I love all things chocolate but my texture issues could never get past that fondue-like yellow and white filling masquerading as yolk and egg white. Eww.

That brings back memories - it is kinda scary and looks like a lot of other things in side there doesn't it. I think they are just too sweet and really don't taste all that good. Give me good old chocolate anyday!
if you're not a fan of the creme-egg, give the cadbury caramel-egg a shot. good stuff and enough sugar to pull even Rosie O'Bacon out of insulin shock.
I was just saying to my friend how I miss coloring eggs. I haven't colored an Easter egg for over 20 years....
Question: how did you color eggs? Did you hard boil them and then color them or did you do what I did and poke holes in either end and blow out the inside to give you a very fragile eggshell?
WMD-That has "major sugar crash" written all over it. I can barely handle a Twix Bar.
EPB: Come on over Sat night..we'll be coloring eggs. Hard boiled, dipped in PAAS dye; crazy night all around.
EPB-
The Cyr's will be coloring eggs this weekend if you would like to swing in. White eggs are hard boiled, cooled then dipped into a mixture of white vinegar and a PAAS color tab. There are several new methods, but we prefer to keep it old school.
Happy Easter to all!
GOY
Kitty - I am surprised that I did not run into you at the WMART picking up the PAAS kit.
SAC loves the cadbury eggs, a fun yet grotesque fact that you may not know about him. I just found this out on our recent easter basket shopping trip to the W before our dinner with the Lpond crowd at Nino's.
GOY-You know me -- I haven't even bought the PAAS yet. That'll likely happen in a mad dash to Wal-Market (as it's called here)on Friday night with the rest of the last minute trashies.
Or, "Walfart," as my brother in law, Jim, would say.
Almost embarassed to admit that I actually like the Cadbury Cream Egg. In fact, I ate one yesterday. Surprising, I know, since I hate the word "creamy" [shudder]. Perhaps it's the brilliant "They're only available once a year" marketing strategy that makes me crave 'em. Much like the Shamrock Shake in days of yore. Mmmmm...
P.S. Instead of coloring eggs this year, we've decided to decorate my giant, egg-shaped stomach using pastel Sharpies and puffy paint. Much like Charlie Brown's head was used as a jack-o-lantern model. Come on over for a wicked good time.
LPD- The Easter Belly.
