More Airtime for Anorexic Slut

I hate myself a little for even writing about this. (And FYI, it'll be chock full of "personal attacks.")

We all know this useless whore will die an anonymous Eleanor-Rigby-like death one day when everyone stops paying attention. Still, the only thing I could think of while witnessing the exchange between Elizabeth Edwards and Slutbag was, “Why oh why can’t she be the one with cancer?” She’s already rotting on the inside as it is. Bring on the slow painful death – sooner rather than later.

In case you haven't heard, the hateful skank -- wearing that same semen-stained cocktail dress --- was shooting her mouth off on Hardball again last night. Halfway through the show, Elizabeth Edwards sneak-attacked with a call-in to confront the bitch about comments she made about her husband, comments that I won't deign to elaborate on here. Edwards, giving the horse-faced wench much more courtesy than she deserved, requested that she refrain from using personal attacks and stick to the issues. Slutbag, from her crazy-infested altered reality, responded: "You're telling me to stop writing books.” Which is not what Edwards said at all.

More logical conclusions would have been:

Edwards: “Please refrain from using personal attacks.”
Tired whore: “I like Curious George.”
Edwards: “Debate on the issues”
Tired whore: “Tomato plants!”

But the disease-ridden loudmouth was only doing what she does best when she is on the ropes: She obfuscates the issue instead of addressing it -- which is the pinnacle of lame. Unfortunately, the people who follow her are too slow-witted and depraved in their own right to see this. These people, her "fans," scare me. Seriously, what kind of horrors were they exposed to in childhood that allow them to support this odious bottomfeeder? Did you see the dude in the crowd with the “marry me” sign? WTF. I guess the logical conclusion here would be that men who support her can only get it up for hideous-looking trannies.

Alas, ratings whores are now on par with the media whores. Much like Paris Hilton, Skankypants would melt away like a wet wicked witch without coverage. It's partly our fault. As viewers, we're taking the bait. We're paying attention, tuning in, talking about it, blogging about it. Oh, God, I freaking hate myself right now.

BC guys = Yuck all around*. Pod people.

*Except T-Bag, who while a BC guy is SO NOT a BC guy.

What's up with the grapefruit? And I watched the first half of this stand-up and it was terrible. Dane Cook is terrible and this guy wants to be him and is not succeeding.

KJ - I'm lost. Is this ANON from BC? So random, it confuses the simple mind of BG.

Have you seen Kathy Griffin's stand up, "Everyone can just suck it?". If not, try to catch it on Bravo, she does a bit about the tired whore that is hysterical. Whenever I see her (not Kathy Griffin) on tv with that smirk on her face, I change the channel. Her biggest followers are dirty old republicans who for whatever reason think she is hot. I love what Elizabeth Edwards did, I wish more people would do it.

BG-Gary "Grapefruit guy" Gulman is a BC guy. Hence, he sucks.

Also, BG, I think the "grapefruit" comment was an intentional non-sequitur -- much like the tired whore's comments yesterday.

Pam-I used to think her followers were dirty old republicans but there were so many young people cheering her on yesterday, which is frightening. Did you see that blonde chick standing behind her with the goofy facial expressions?(or maybe it was just her face). How can a young woman think this tired whore is cool? It's baffling to me. I agree, though. I wish more people would challenge her like EE did. It seems like it'd be pretty easy to dismantle her flimsy arguments. More talk show hosts should muzzle her so she can't yell over people. Matthews did an OK job, short of cutting her mic off.

Is GGGG the ANON?

To comment on your article, I don't know much about this lady (Ann Coulter?). From what I have seen on TV about her and her actions and views, she seems to fit the barrage of names you so fittingly labeled on her (nice job by the way - your unintentional comedy rating *credit Sports Guy* was a 9.20). I will add that I hate having a convo with ppl that pull out the "irrational card". How can they live with themselves, constantly pulling that thing out thinking that they're getting an edge on the conversation? It's like playing poker with a Joker (no pun intended).

ME: "Hey, I've got a full boat, Aces over Kings!".
JOKER GUY: "I've got 2 Jokers and 3 Queens -- I WIN".

Sure you do, a-hole. Go back to your make-believe land filled with acid-laced rock candy and Chinese staples.

I'm OK now. Back to work...

CHINESE STAPLES! Nice one, BG. I'd nearly forgotten.

I don't know who the anon is. Maybe my writer friend. I doubt it's GGGG making fun of himself.

Chinese Staples...excellent, SB!

There are so many "news" outlets and everyone is fighting for attention. Think about walking through Downtown Crossing: People just going about their business, trying to get someplace. You never remember the nameless, faceless passersby. But, you DO remember the ranting guy with Tourette's, pants around his ankles, waving a pamphlet and shouting out incoherent obscenities. She's the same thing, except she doesn't have a disease to blame it on (although, wouldn't be surprised if she's battled a few STDs in her day...meee-ow)

I am not an Ann Coulter fan, though I must say, her handling of students at Johns Hopkins, Harvard and Brandeis has been impressive (Devil its due). I think she has fascist inclinations. But I don't think that's what this ire is all about. Kathy Griffin has those same fascist tendencies. Now, this may be a little unsettling...fascism, historically, has a stronger link to, say, the bistros and lounges of the South End than the BBQs of Texas.Look at a history of European cities pre-WWII and see if that doesn't hold true.

Both Kathy Griffin and Coulter are serial killer enthusiasts: Griffin dons her walls with the art work of John Wayne Gacy; Coulter "just can't stop reading about them". Macabre, fashion, a witches' coven-like "hee-hee" session over tragedy all endemic of fascism.

KJ - I think the young people cheering her on were planted, I bet they did not even know what she was saying. It's amazing what people will do to be on TV today, look at all those idiots who stand outside the Today show with their signs, waving to their mothers. What is the point? On the same note, did you see all the people standing outside the jail waiting for Paris Hilton to strut out? Giving her high fives, screaming her name, WHY?? The media drives me crazy and you are right, we are partially to blame. We are totally taking the bait. How Larry King got an hour out of PH last night is beyond me and I cannot believe that they dragged Andersen Cooper into that mess, it was completely embarassing.

KJ said...

Pam-you're probably right. Some people (idiots) will do anything to be on TV. I saw the Paris release as well and immediately thought: I can't even imagine how big of loser you'd have to be to go stand outside that jail.

I didn't watch the LK interview but I'm sure she gave him the exclusive because she knew he wouldn't ask any real questions. Any lingering respect I had for A.Cooper is gone. All about ratings. Booooo

Il Duce! Serial-killer enthusiasts? Holy God. That's just messed up. I've never understood why Kathy Griffin is famous. She reminds me of someone's annoying drunk aunt who gossips about family members' fertility problems.

KJ said...

LPD-you nailed it. I miss that Tourettes guy and "Our Lady of Au Bon Pain."

Aunts, yes, perfect! I think she based her persona on my aunts after a few Carlo Rossi.
